Like Forrest Gump said, “Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re gonna get.” I got this box full of hand-made chocolates from a famous Amsterdam confectionary last weekend from friends. I don’t think I’ll share them with hubby because they’re bad for his health. Oh the sacrifices I have to make in the name of love.
Two reasons: 1) because hubby loves anything with yoghurt, and 2) because when the hearth is busy with something delicious, home feels warmer.
Recipe from Sommer.
In one of my walks around the neighborhood, I found a schoolchildren’s project – planting potatoes using permaculture principles by filling used tires with clean soil where the potatoes can take root. No fertilizers are being used.
A clear message from the children is anyone can grow his own food in the city.
